Finally, the big day arrived: On August 6, 2014, His Excellency, Bp. Mark Pivarunas, CMRI, solemnly dedicated St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church, located at 500 West Mulberry Street in Lebanon, Ohio. He was accompanied by other priests and a subdeacon. Several Sisters of the Mater Dei Congregation also attended and graced us with beautiful singing.
An estimated 100 people attended the dedication and Pontifical Low Mass, and some had traveled a great distance. The ceremonies were followed by a reception at the nearby Armco Park, where everyone enjoyed food, drink, and wholesome conversation.
Now our Blessed Lord once again dwells with us in His Prison of Love: “May our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament be praised, adored and loved, with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the Tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen.”
