Every year October 11 marks the patronal feast of the Congregatio Matris Dei, the Congregation of the Mother of God, for it is the feast of the Divine Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This year the CMD Sisters, three of whom teach at our parochial school, had their first 25th anniversary, and a celebration was held at the motherhouse in Persia, Iowa.
